What You'll Do:

We have an Administrative Assistant role available in the Legal Department of our Faribault, MN office. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for a variety of tasks such as assisting with the subcontractor/supplier onboarding process, licensing, and filing/saving. This role will also provide general support to the Legal Department.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate vendor onboarding
    • Review onboarding requests to ensure that standards are met
    • Distribute, collect, and review required setup and contract documents
    • Input vendor into various systems as needed
  • Ensure subcontractor/vendor compliance
    • Assist with reviewing subcontractor insurance and tracking
    • Assist with subcontractor annual updates
    • Assist with subcontractor blocking and unblocking as needed
    • Verify and make requested system changes
    • Verify subcontractors are compliant prior to use
    • Assist with customer subcontractor process
  • Obtain & maintain company licenses
    • Review requests and research license requirements
    • Complete applications
    • Track licenses
  • Manage department paper and electronic mail and prepare documents for mailing
  • Scanning, saving and filing of legal documents
  • Review and complete credit applications and other questionnaires
  • Performs other duties as requested

Education/Experience and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • One year related experience and/or training
  • Exhibit personal power and leadership

Language Skills:

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before employees of the organization.
