SUMMARY

The Administrative Coordinator for the Learning Alliance is responsible for general administrative support within a national training and certification program. Responsibilities include supporting the manager and other program staff by assisting with the successful delivery of Housing and Financial Capacity training to over 800 non-profit staff a year through virtual education platforms and in-person events as necessary. A successful candidate requires a high level of organizational skills, close attention to detail, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to prioritize projects and deadlines. This position is hybrid and based in our Phoenix, AZ office.


Essential Functions

  • Manages administrative workflows within the adult training lifecycle including but not limited to registrations, scholarship applications, and course
  • Oversee payment to vendors, organization paperwork, and contracts.
  • Organize training data that includes attendance reports, satisfaction surveys, and curriculum audits for supervisor analysis.
  • Review and organize satisfaction surveys identifying needs and topline issues for management decision-making.
  • Maintain continuity of work operations by documenting and communicating needed actions to management; discovering irregularities; determining to continue needs.
  • Complete administrative projects by identifying and implementing new technology and resources.
  • Logistical planning for training events—both face-to-face and virtual. (1-3 in-person events and up to 60 online events).
  • Collaborate with the manager, staff, and consultants by researching and developing new services and methods; setting priorities; and providing resolutions to problem situations.

Required Qualifications

  • Two to 3 years of experience in an administrative capacity with documented examples of project organization and delivery.
  • Prior administration experience with education software including but not limited to Blackboard Learn or Canvas.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards with acute attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with adult education and participatory training methods and techniques.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Grasps new concepts and ideas quickly.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and goals, prioritize among assignments, and problem-solving.
  • Ability to maintain attention to deadlines, function effectively under pressure, and communicate clearly and effectively about workload/priorities.
  • Collaborates effectively to get things done, building, and nurturing strong relationships.

Desired Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

  • Familiarity and commitment with the U.S. Latino community, Latino nonprofit organizations, and the Latino market are a

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite of programs and project management tools.
