Topsider Building Systems, Inc., designer and fabricator of high-end custom home building components, sold and shipped worldwide since 1968, has an immediate opening for a Admin Assistant/Receptionist at our corporate offices in Clemmons, North Carolina.

The successful candidate will have a professional business demeaner - and be flexible and adaptive to a fast-paced environment. Along with excellent communication skills, candidates should be well organized and attentive to detail.

REQUIREMENTS:
(1) High school education, preferably with some college or Associates degree.

(2) Minimum 3 years previous office experience as an administrative assistant – receptionist, or equivalent. Must have excellent skills in Microsoft Office. Minimum keyboarding 45 wpm. Database user experience a plus. (All skills will be tested).

(3) Experience/familiarity with standard office machines, e.g., mail machines, copiers, and general office machines.

(4) Experience/user knowledge of all courier/shipping services, e.g., FEDEX, UPS, USPS, etc.

(5) Pleasant, professional poise and demeanor.

(6) Excellent handwriting, spelling and written expression skills, including knowledge of standard business correspondence formats.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
(1) Responding to Internet lead inquiries and maintaining the client database, assigning leads to sales staff, prepping sales reports and maintaining paper files containing associated client information.

(2) Assisting the Accounts Payable Dept with filing and clerical work.

(3) Preparing and mailing Company marketing and information packages, inventorying printed materials, ordering office supplies.

(4) Maintaining the mailroom and processing the company's mail and small package shipping requirements. Ability to lift 25 lbs.

(5) Ensuring a friendly and welcome reception to all guests, directing phone traffic that does not come in via our auto-attend feature, and managing the public areas of our offices.

WORK SCHEDULE:
8:30 to 5:00 Mon-Fri, with a 30-minute lunch break. Additional work hours and some scheduling flexibility may be required from time-to-time.

COMPENSATION: $17.00 per hour to start, based on experience and qualifications.
