We are seeking a full-time dispatcher / administrative assistant to fill a multifaceted position. The ideal candidate has a positive attitude about their responsibilities, works well with others, is eager and able to learn new skills and displays a desire to grow with our company. The perfect candidate will exhibit potential to one day become manager at our company. All office workers in our company work from home!

Starting pay range is $20 - 25 during the 90-day probationary period depending on qualifications. We will consider a bright trainee new to the workforce or a more experienced employee with dispatch experience.

MUST LIVE IN LOS ANGELES OR HAVE LIVING EXPERIENCE OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY WITH KNOWLEDGE ABOUT TRAFFIC CONDITIONS & DRIVING ROUTES.

Duties:

  • Assist with miscellaneous administrative tasks and projects under the direction of the GM
  • Prepare daily schedules of electrical jobs & inspections. The position requires knowledge of the geography, driving routes, and typical driving conditions throughout Los Angeles County and North Orange County
  • Answer incoming phone calls to assist our customers, crews and Building & Safety City Inspectors
  • Accommodate the needs of customers by responding to inquiries regarding scheduling and price estimates
  • (pricing will be provided to you in our company price book)
  • Manage and reply to a high volume of email communications
  • Heavy data entry
  • Cultivate strong relationships with our office team, field workers, field supervisor, customers & city inspectors

Requirements:

** WORK FROM HOME ** Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm PST (excluding company paid Holidays). MUST LIVE IN LOS ANGELES OR HAVE LIVING EXPERIENCE OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY WITH KNOWLEDGE ABOUT TRAFFIC CONDITIONS & DRIVING ROUTES.

  • Must have reliable work-from-home space & reliable hardwired internet connection
  • Must be willing and able to handle high call and email volume
  • Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, problem-solve and adapt to change
  • Must possess strong computer skills
  • Typing speed of at least 55 WPM
  • Must have excellent verbal and written (email) communication
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Big picture thinker with attention to detail
  • Familiarity (or ability to learn) Los Angeles County geography & effective driving routes
  • Basic knowledge of accounting concepts and/or QuickBooks familiarity are a major plus!
  • High School Graduate requred (college graduate a plus!)
  • Authorization to work in the United States
