Administrative Personnel I is the initial contact person for the public providing professional, courteous, and effective customer service. The workweek and working hours will vary with assignments Monday through Saturday. Evenings and weekends may be required.

  • Process payments for the permits, taxes, licenses, etc.
  • Assist in preparations for city events, activities, workshops and/or functions.
  • Answer phones, process messages, copying, filing and updating bulletin boards.
  • Maintain sign-in sheets and keep writing instruments handy.
  • Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the front desk.
  • Handle special mailings.
  • Maintain necessary records of activities.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and courteous attitude.
  • Ensure a pleasant, respectful, and productive experience for all visitors.
  • Assist in developing interest in the community center.
  • Ensure all visitors are aware of upcoming city events.
  • Observe necessary precautions to secure the safety of participants.
  • Perform other related duties as directed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
