NV5 Environmental Health Science Group is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant on a part-time basis. This position will provide administrative support to an exciting growing group of engineers and environmental scientists in the Seattle Office.
Responsibilities:
  • Support professional staff with project-based work.
  • Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to photocopying, faxing, mailing, and filing.
  • Assist with and coordinate travel arrangements.
  • Organize and maintain paper and electronic files including archival documents.
  • Assemble and compile reports and correspondence for distribution to appropriate clients or entities.
  • Prepare outgoing mail and correspondence including Federal Express, email, UPS and faxes.
  • Check and distribute mail.
  • Assist with ordering and maintaining department office supplies.
  • Maintain time off calendars for staff.
  • Provide meeting assistance and scheduling.
  • Coordinate and manage accounting functions (including but not limited to: review and enter all AP invoices from Subcontractors, Subconsultants and Vendors, approve and set-up new Subcontractors, process check requests.
  • Assist with ordering insurance certificates and bonds.
  • Any other job duties as assigned.

Education/Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years of experience that is directly related to the administrative duties and responsibilities specified.
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work effectively/efficiently independently, with other team members and with minimal supervision.

The pay range for this Washington position is $30.00 per hour; based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate. NV5 may provide restricted stock units, sign-on bonuses, stay bonuses, or relocation allowances as part of the compensation package. Medical, dental, and vision insurance are also offered to full-time employees, along with Flexible Spending Accounts and Health Savings Accounts, with employee and employer contributions. 3 weeks of Paid Time Off a year for full-time employees along with 8 paid holidays a year. 401(k) savings plan; Company Paid Basic life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment insurance; Company Paid Short-term and long-term disability insurance are also provided.
