General Statement

Instructors will teach course(s) within a specific discipline to a diverse student population at our Main campus dental clinic/skills labs and clinical sites in our service area. Responsibilities will include instructional preparation, assessment of student performance and assistance to students.

Minimum Qualifications

• Hold a current Massachusetts Registered Dental Hygienist License in good standing and Massachusetts's Permit L, local anesthesia license. Possess a Bachelors' Degree in dental hygiene or related field. Possess a minimum of three years of dental hygiene clinical practice with periodontally involved patients. Active member of the American Dental Hygienists' Association. Possesses experience with dental practice management software along with strong computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in dental hygiene or related field preferred, Teaching/training experience. Demonstrated commitment to promoting diversity in the curriculum as appropriate. Passionate commitment to striving for excellence in working with students, faculty, and staff and in responding to opportunities that extend the Mission of the College.
