Job description

Under the direction of the Director of Activities, work to implement an ongoing program of activities designed to meet the interests and the physical, mental, and psychosocial needs of each individual resident on their assigned floor.

Following the floor activity schedule; assist in planning specific daily, weekly, and monthly activities


Implement daily activity schedule.. Conduct creative, interesting, and interactive groups as assigned. Adapt activities to resident physical and cognitive functioning abilities.

Provide individualized 1:1 visits, friendly visits, etc. with residents as assigned.

Host community groups as assigned who are providing special programs

Guide residents to appropriate seats prior to activities. Assist/transport residents to and from group activities both on and off the floor.

Document daily group, 1:1, and independent resident activity participation accurately and in a timely manner.
