Western Door Federal is looking to hire an Acquisition Analyst III to support the National Guard Bureau (NGB) in Arlington, VA. This position is remote.


The Acquisition Analyst III should possess an advanced level proficiency with acquisitions to support the National Guard Bureau. May support programs in excess of 1 Billion Dollars. This position conducts a broad variety of acquisition and contract management related tasks. Familiarity supporting an IDIQ acquisition environment for Department of Defense. The Analyst develops requirements, market research, cost estimates, solicitation documents, and other materials to support the assigned Contracting Officer. Additionally, this position supports contract management and administration with option exercises, contract filings, contract modifications, documentation of contractor performance, and other tasks.


Responsibilities include but not limited to:


  • Conducts a broad variety of acquisition and contract management related tasks.
  • Develops requirements, market research, cost estimates, solicitation documents, and other materials.
  • Support contract management and administration with option exercises, contract filings, contract modifications, documentation of contractor performance, and other tasks.
  • Directs the activities of more junior analysts, may interact directly with the client, and possesses the ability to operate as both a team member and independently.
  • Independently resolves complex acquisition and contracts related problems.
  • Assist with source selection documentation.
  • Facilitate and assist in development, review, and/or revision of pre- and post-award contract documentation.
  • Experience engaging with stakeholders.
  • Comfortable creating and presenting training topics.
  • Collect and prepare market research reports to identify required sources, commercial items, non-developmental items (NDI), small businesses, intragovernmental acquisition sources.
  • Create, review, and edit acquisition documents including but not limited to Performance Work Statements (PWS), Statements of Work (SOW), Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans (QASP), Source Selection Plans (SSP), etc.
  • Creating Sources Sought Notices, requests for information, special announcements.
  • Make Set-Aside determinations and recommendations for Contracting Vehicles for upcoming solicitations.
  • Maintain knowledgeable/proficiency in all statutes, regulations, and policies related to IT and ancillary services.
  • Other duties as assigned

Basic Requirements:


  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Ten (10 plus) years of related (government acquisition) experience
  • Possesses an advanced level proficiency with acquisitions
  • FAC-C or DAWIA Level II or III/ CPCM in lieu of advanced FAC-C or DAWIA requirement
  • Experience creating and presenting formal documents and presentations
  • Experience working in cradle to grave acquisition directorates

Working experience within Procurement Defense Desktop/Standard Procurement System (PD2/SPS) or implemented Contract Writing Systems.


In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $100,000.00 to $120,000.00; However, Seneca Holdings considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
