We are looking for an Accounts Specialist (Data Entry Processor) to join our organization. In this role, you will be responsible for providing customer service to our financial professionals, maintaining account information, and the daily management of accounts and commissions. This includes reviewing and verifying new account information for completeness and accuracy, entering data supplied by the representatives, and completing monthly reporting and mailings.

In this position, you can work from any one of the following office locations:

  • Syracuse, NY – 100 Madison St, 13202 (Preferred)
  • Houston - TX - 11740 Katy Freeway, Energy Tower III, Ste 600, 77079
  • San Diego, CA – 10510 Meanley Drive, 92131

This position is eligible for Hybrid of 3 office days 2 home days after specified training period.

The anticipated annual base salary range for this position is $38,000 to $47,000. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing new account applications for clerical accuracy
  • Completing new account data entry for multiple accounts on multiple platforms
  • Communicating and assisting financial advisors with required revisions on account forms
  • Maintaining client confidentiality and online security
  • Maintaining time management and adapting to updated processes
  • Having proper phone etiquette and assisting on incoming calls from financial advisors and house account clients.
  • Assisting on account transitions and account inquiries
  • Assisting on various projects
  • Maintaining and utilizing several online platforms to complete tasks and assist financial advisors on forms and procedures.
  • Maintaining education on new and updated policies within the industry

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A degree desired in business, finance or related field, or an applicable combination of education and work experience.
  • Experience in the financial services industry is desired but not required.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to demonstrate accuracy and efficiency.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
