Job Overview:
Lollicup is seeking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our corporate Accounting team. This individual will be responsible for the accuracy of the standard operation procedure (SOP) for the Accounts Receivable (AR) Department, supports Business Unit and AR department.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Prepares, posts, verifies, and records customer payments and transactions related to account receivable.
• Performs business-to-business collections by collection on the receivable balance per payment term
• Review account receivable aging and reconcile account.
• Review weekly reports and addresses any issue, bringing resolution in a timely manner.
• Identify customer deductions and short payments, and processes or disputes as needed
• Work closely with sales team and warehouse admin team to resolve customer disputes.
• Resolves invalid or unauthorized deductions by following pending deductions procedures
• Resolves collections by examining customer payment plans, payment history, credit terms, and coordinating contact with the collections department.
• Responds to and addresses customer inquiries
• Carry out collection and reporting activities according to specific deadline
• Assist with audit requests
• Update and maintain SOP for AR cycle (i.e. applying payments, credit approvals, collections, sales tax verifying, and write-off )
• Maintains and files accounting relative folder
• Communicated with internal/external customers about A/R billing and payment discrepancies
• Assist with the month-end close process
• Overview AR team and conduct training for AR team

Skills/Requirements:

• Ability to treat all information confidentially and to work independently
• 5 Years experience working with accounting software programs, including industry standard ERP System and accounts receivable software
• Strong computer skills (MS Excel/Word/Outlook)
• Bilingual: English and Chinese speaking preferred

Qualifications:

• Must have at least 3 year of account receivable experience or bank experience
• Knowledge of high-volume collections, credit authorization, and billing procedures and practices
• Accounting software knowledge required: NetSuite
• Experience with national chain account and distribution customer’s portal
• distribution industry experience
• Highly organized and detail oriented
• Good writing and communication skills
• Teamwork within the department and across department.
• Understanding and following policies and procedures
• Applicant must be authorized to work in the US.

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday
8am-5pm (with a 1-hour unpaid meal break)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $31.00 per hour
