C&S has an immediate opening for a full-time Accounts Receivable Clerk in Jefferson City.
Salary/hours for Accounts Receivable Clerk: $18/hr.; Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Responsibilities for Accounts Receivable Clerk:
- directs cash management operations to include daily cash administration, management of current accounts and bank relations
- post invoice payments for inventory product, rental properties and non-inventory transactions
- reviews and drives improvements in cash management, ensuring financial obligations are met in accordance with company policies and procedures
- completes all cash management set-up documentation for new and existing department processes; prepares correspondence and proposals directed to and for cash management
- timely reconciles cash application and disbursements
- monitors cash transactions to ensure that they reconcile to the bank accounts and any unusual items or discrepancies are investigated
- forecasts, monitors and tracks cash flow
- prepares cash flow reports, and identifies and evaluates variances
Requirements for Accounts Receivable Clerk:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or Accounting preferred
- 3–5 years of experience in high volume transaction accounts receivable role
- proficient with MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- familiarity with bank cash management systems
- strong managerial, planning, organizational, decision-making, interpersonal, analytical and lateral thinking skills
- excellent oral and written communication skills, along with the ability to communicate and negotiate with a variety of internal and external customers, employees and managers
