Responsible for Accounts Payable functions; applies principles of accounting to perform accounting tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of Accounts Payable transactions. This includes processing, distribution, and maintenance of records by performing the following duties.

Other duties may be assigned by the Director of Accounting and Director of Finance.

• Reviews all invoices for appropriate documentation and approval prior to processing.
• Matches invoices and accounts payable checks.
• Monitors accounts and vendor statements.
• Acts as liaison between corporate and branch locations.
• Posts accounts payable invoices in the ERP system.
• Maintains all accounts payable records, spreadsheets, and corporate accounts payable files.
• Corresponds with vendors, responds to inquiries, and resolves invoice discrepancies.
• Orders postage and other mailing supplies as needed.
• Imports and uploads files; creates new import files for Excel as needed.
• Generates and issues 1099 forms at the end of the year.
• Handles interoffice mail on a daily basis.
• Submits new vendor setups and W9 requests.
• Interacts with vendors - requests missing invoices, answers emails, researches questions in a timely manner.
• Assists with audits as needed.
• Performs other office duties as needed to ensure smooth financial processes.

• Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or Technical School; or minimum five-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Intermediate to advanced experience with Accounting Software, Contact Management Systems; Internet programs; Spreadsheet software, and Word Processing software.
• Valid State Driver’s License.
