Job description
Accounts Payable Specialist- Pay: -$20 - $24 per/hr
Hours: Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm & Fri 8am-4:30pm
Location: Morrisville
Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with internal departments to gather, analyze, & interpret financial data.
- Receiving, processing, verifying, & reconciling invoices.
- Verifying vendor accounts, paying vendors & resolving purchase order, invoice or payment discrepancies.
- Charging expenses to accounts & cost centers, as well as controlling petty cash spending.
- Reconciling account transactions with the general ledger.
- Keeping informed of regulatory requirements & best practices in accounting.
- Review purchases for use tax due & maintain timely payment of sales & use tax.
- Keep apprised of sales & use tax guidelines.
Experience:
2 years’ experience as an accounts payable specialist, or equivalent role.
Competency in accounting & business ERP systems.
In-depth knowledge of accounts payable principles, accounting standards, & industry regulations.
Experience in account reconciliation.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment & manage competing demands.
Excellent collaboration & communication abilities.

Communicates clearly & effectively, both verbally & in writing
Has good organizational skills, energy, & uses resources effectively.
Works accurately & has attention to detail.
Able to interact positively & work effectively with others.
