WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Cultivate an inclusive, high-performing team that maximizes team member contribution.
  • Coach and develop the AP Analyst on continuous improvement methodologies and practices.
  • Define success metrics for AP to measure success and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of market trends, industry-leading techniques that support innovation and improvement for AP.
  • Analyze data or facts and summarize and present findings in a compelling way.
  • Oversee AP escalations, teaching the AP Analyst how to resolve more complex items.
  • Provide thought leadership on potential enhancements, methodologies to improve overall experience.
  • Partner with FIN, HR and TECH to ensure all work streams are cohesive and cross functional impacts are considered and mitigated.
  • Liaise with senior leadership to provide strategic input and recommendations for growth, innovation, and overall improvement.
  • Recommend best practices and provide sound solutions to support AP related items in Workday.
  • Support AP Analyst with guidance on communicating technical and AP-related concepts to a broad range of teams.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
  • Ability to manage a high-volume workload and multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Solid experience in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, (pivot tables and v-lookups).
  • Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience or high potential for a leadership role.
  • Possess strong willingness to learn and ability to jump in feet first.
  • Demonstrates a solid and comprehensive knowledge of AP principles and practices.
  • Credibility, ethical, full disclosure, and clean financial history.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

YOUR ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

The physical environment requires the employee to work inside.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to frequently stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear; lift (overhead, waist level) from the floor, bending, frequently utilize near vision use for reading and computer use; occasionally move equipment weighing up to 15 pounds, and frequently position self to maintain computers or other equipment as needed.
