Construction Accounts Payable - Rock & Haul Coordinator

Reporting to the Lead Project Coordinator, the Construction Accounts Payable Professional plays an integral role in the organization and is responsible for ensuring verification and timely payment to material vendors.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Secure proper documentation to support and process payments through Vista accounting system.
• Match material and hauling tickets to invoices with attention to detail.
• Verify cost is in line with project quote.
• Timely entry of invoice to accounting system.
• Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
• Ensure proper costing to job and activity of work.
• Develop trust relationship through regular communication with material and hauling vendors
• Ensure vendors are charging proper sales tax per project and activity of work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
• 1 year in Accounts Payable
• Excellent Attention to Detail
• Strong Organizational Skills
• Effective Communication Skills – Both Written and Verbal
• Basic Understanding of Accounting Principles
• Ability to Consistently Meet Deadlines
• Strong Analytical Skills
• Experience Establishing Vendor Relationships
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Experience using Vista by Viewpoint or other construction accounting software a plus

Positon may allow for flexible during normal work hours of 7:30 am - 4:30 pm. Minimum 32 hours per week - Maximum 40 hours per week.
