Our client is a growing manufacturing firm looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team! This is a great opportunity with the opportunity to advance to a managing position. It's a full-time position with 3 days per week in the Chicago, IL office. Please apply for immediate consideration.
Responsibilities:
- Processes invoices and related payments to company vendors, including charging costs to the appropriate general ledger account and cost center
- Resolves three way match issues, working closely with Purchasing
- Handles vendor relations
- Manages the accounts payable email inbox
- Works closely with other departments within the organization to pay vendors in a timely manner.
- Creates the weekly vendor payment run file utilizing Excel
- Supports month end processes
Qualifications:
- Associates or Bachelors degree preferred
- 3+ years direct A/P experience in a manufacturing setting
- Experience with 3 way matching
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
