Setton Pistachio of Terra Bella, Inc.is seeking a high performing and motivated accounting professional, to join our Finance department as a Accounts Payable Clerk in our Terra Bella, CA area office. In this role, you will be responsible for performing daily and monthly accounting duties and assigned ad hoc accounting project related work.

Position Duties & Responsibilities

· Assist with finance activities that include but are not limited to account reconciliation(s), recording journal entries, daily accounts payable and data entry tasks.

· Perform matching of invoices, purchase orders and receiving documentation prior to obtaining approval to issue payment

· Assist with clerical duties that include but are not limited to the opening and sorting of incoming mail as well as filing of accounts payable documentation

· Develop and maintain strong and effective working communication with our vendors, trucking lines, warehouse, and shipping personnel.

· Provide backup support for various functions including the processing of grower payments and farm bills and review/coordinate timely correction of any issues to minimize delays in payment on an as needed basis.

· Perform special projects, reporting analyses and other related duties as requested

· Document and improve processes and controls in their areas of responsibility

· Assist with the annual audit as required by management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
