Position Summary
Under the direct supervision from an Accounting Specialist Supervisor, this position is responsible for office tasks relating to payment collections for the Patients Accounts Office ofLSU School of Dentistry. This position is responsible for collecting payments from patients, and the daily balancing of these collections. It is also responsible for assisting with the processing of third party insurance and Medicaid.
The incumbent in this position must be able to interact with patients, faculty, staff, residents and dental students in a professional and respectful manner. The incumbent must also be proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
