Job Announcement – Accounting Clerk

The Family Place Utah is seeking a full-time accounting clerk to join our accounting team and help us fulfill our mission, “Strengthening families and protecting children.” Competitive pay based on licensure and experience.

The Family Place Utah is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization striving to achieve its mission of Strengthening Families and Protecting Children in Cache and Rich Counties through therapy, education, and 24-hour Kid’s Place care and shelter services.

Duties Synopsis

Duties include data entry, payroll, payroll liabilities, quarterly & yearly payroll reporting, job costing, financial reports and supporting documentation. Must be able to work well with a team, take initiative, and provide leadership at times. Must possess good computer, organizational, and communication skills.

Qualifications

Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel software.

Associate degree or 2 years college in business, accounting or equivalent knowledge and experience.

Ability to analyze information and deal with complex tasks.

Dependable, honest, responsible, self-starter and team player.

Protects and maintains confidences and confidentiality of restricted or proprietary client, employee and business information

Pass Background Criminal Investigation (BCI) clearance.
