The Family Place Utah is seeking a full-time accounting clerk to join our administrative team and help us fulfill our mission, “Strengthening families and protecting children.” Competitive pay based on licensure and experience.

Duties Synopsis

Responsible for data entry, accounts receivable functions and supporting documentation in QuickBooks software. Maintain Salesforce, an online software system that tracks donor information as well as monetary and in-kind donations through data entry. Coordinate tax letters and donor thank-you letters in a timely manner. Track fixed assets. Enter billings in QuickBooks for Therapy. Apply in-person payments in Theraplatform. Help with Therapy bank reconciliation monthly. Internal audit of entries made in QuickBooks.

Qualifications

1. Proficient in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint software

2. Associate degree or 2 years of college, in accounting or related education and 2 years bookkeeping experience preferred

3. Ability to think strategically, creatively problem-solve, deal with complexity and exercise good judgement. Maintain confidentiality.

4. Experience with Salesforce (desirable, not required)
