What you’ll be doing:
- Gather data for various audits
- Prepare corporate and partnership income tax returns
- Conduct tax research, draw conclusions and prepare memorandums to support tax positions
- Provide support for the completion of special tax projects including income tax projects
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting; or completion of an Accounting Degree expected within the next year
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and Word
- Ability to identify relevant facts and issues and communicate them effectively to management
- Ability to address and resolve everyday tax issues
- Acquired skills to present solutions related to basic issues to management including risk analysis
- Ability to communicate with state and local jurisdictions in a professional manner
- Master’s Degree in Accounting/Tax
- CPA or ability to sit for the CPA Exam
- 1+ years of accounting/tax experience
- Knowledge of Federal and state laws and compliance reporting in states that AMC operates
- Experience with accounting software and Oracle
