Wychmere Beach Club is seeking to hire a full-time, year-round Accountant. The Accountant is responsible for providing support in our operational accounting activities. This position will interact with multiple business segments (Events, Beach Club, and Restaurants) and be a valued member of the finance team.

The ideal candidate will be passionate, innovative, and creative with an attention to detail and ability to deliver the highest standards to our members and guests. This individual will work alongside our administrative team in our offices overlooking Nantucket Sound.

Responsibilities:

· Facilitate our post-Events summary Quickbooks reconciliations and assist in processing any related accounts payable or receivable, communicating across departments

· Provide reporting on daily restaurant charges and pool fees

· Sweep daily member charges and record against the member’s account

· Send monthly statements to members, maintain member files, record member payments

· Record invoices in Quickbooks and ensure accurate GL coding for each

· Maintain retail inventory for the Beach Club and Hotel

· Manually process credit card charges and maintain hand-held IT devices

Candidate Requirements:

· B.S. in accounting with 1-3 years of experience, prior hotel or resort experience preferred

· Competent with Microsoft Office products and Quickbooks is required

· Knowledge of Tripleseat and Toast software platforms is preferred

· Ability to manage IT device (tablets, handhelds) setup, testing, and support is a plus

Pay:

$24/hr to $26/hr: depending on experience

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
