Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Payroll Processing on a bi-monthly basis
• Maintaining Accounts Payable sub-ledger and payment cycle once approved by the CEO.
• Maintaining Accounts Receivable payment application based on stablished guidelines.
• Inter-company transaction journals for subsidiaries accounts
• Bank reconciliations prior to month-end close
• Updating various schedules prior to month-end close, such as prepaid, Fixed Assets, and others.
• Assisting in financial activities as needed
• Ad Hoc projects

Requirements:

Skill requirements:

• Basic accounting knowledge
• Sage experience prefers
• Paylocity payroll system experience prefers
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel or any other spreadsheet
• Data entry
• Deep understanding of accounting principles
• Confidentiality
• Attention to detail
• Comfortable dealing with decent volumes of complex data

Qualifications required:

• Bachelor’s in accounting or related fields with two or three years or experience or equivalent associates with four to five years of experience.
• Strong work ethic
• Strong sense of accountability
• Strong emphasis to accuracy
• Strong organizational Skills.
