Elite Executive Partners is sourcing Accountant candidates for a growing Siouxland client

Candidate must have a basic understanding of financial principles and terms. Under the supervision of the Senior Accountant, you can expect to participate in the preparation of journal entries and financial reports, analyze actual financial data and assist with other accounting activities.

• Assist in the month-end closing process in preparation of issuing financial statements
• Reconcile bank statements and set up ACH payments
• Keep detailed records of fixed assets & prepare depreciation entries
• Prepare detailed account analysis and reconciliation files
• Prepare, examine, or analyze accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
• Develop, implement, modify, and document recordkeeping and accounting systems, making use of current computer technology.
• Assist in accounts receivable & payable as needed
• Provide required documentation to assist in year-end audits
• Assist in reconciling physical inventory
• Familiar with ERP systems
• Handling sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity.

• Knowledge of cost accounting

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or combination of Associates Degree plus 1 or more years experience

Ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through 3 or more years of related experience

Must be able to adapt to new and different computer programs and software to enable efficient data gathering and analysis

Ability to research, compile, analyze and interpret data

Good written, verbal communication, and collaborative skills

Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office products
