Accounts Payable Clerk

JOB DESCRIPTION

Compiles and maintains accounts payable records.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reviews all invoices, including freight, expense, and inventory, for appropriate documentation and approval prior to payment.
• Prints and obtains signatures on all accounts payable checks.
• Compiles invoice support for all checks issued.
• Distributes signed checks as required.
• Answers all vendor inquiries.
• Maintains accounts payable reports, spreadsheets and corporate accounts payable files.
• Assists Management Team as necessary.
• Assists with monthly closings.
• Prepares Accounts Payable reconciliation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Strong Organizational Skills
• Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness to ensure quality of own work
• Ability to manage competing priorities and delivering on committed deadlines

Education and Experience:

• 1-3+ years of office experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
• MS Office experience required
• Well organized, detail orientated and able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 per hour
