We have a great opportunity for an experienced Onsite Account Manager to join our team at our customer on-site in the San Jose, California area. If you enjoy working in a dynamic, rapidly changing and fun work environment - come join our team!


In this role as an Onsite Account Manager you will provide an exceptional customer service experience by:

  • Performing daily database maintenance
  • Pulling reports
  • Updating equipment status in database
  • Maintaining all calibration documentation records
  • Performing Inventory Services
  • Taking responsibility for the logistics management of our customers equipment needing third party services
  • Interacting and providing daily support to our customer's team
  • Developing presentations in Power Point
  • Presenting Quarterly Reviews to our customer

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED - Onsite Account Manager:

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a similar customer facing role preferably as an Onsite Account Manager in a technical service industry.
  • Excellent communication skills including written, verbal and listening skills.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Power Point and EXCEL), Internet Research.
  • Must feel comfortable presenting quarterly reviews to our customer.
  • Ability to provide exceptional experiences to our customers by researching and providing accurate answers/solutions to their inquiries.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize workload.
  • Excellent attention to detail and multi-tasking ability.
  • Ability to work independently.

And we would prefer:

  • Previous work experience in the metrology, calibration or other technical service industry
  • A strong candidate will have a technical aptitude
  • Prior experience providing documentation review
  • Experience working under a Quality program

Primary Responsibility: Resides on-site at Customer and performs daily database maintenance, reports, equipment updates and to maintain all calibration documentation records

Responsibilities and Requirements:

1. General Management:

  • On all workdays, whether on-site or off-site, the Account Manager shall be made available to all Customer personnel by telephone or email.
  • During on-site days, they will be dedicated to Customer and will be available to travel, as needed for e3 training, inventory service support and special project development requested by Customer to support the calibration program.
  • The Account Manager will be responsible for evaluating current system and processes for continual improvements working with the Program Manager and Customer’s primary point of contact. The evaluation of current systems includes the recall program, web tool applications and monthly performance reports.
  • They will be responsible for minimizing the turnaround times for units sent to Trescal or outsourced equipment to third party vendors reporting updates to Customer’s lab managers and primary contacts when units are delayed, requiring accessories, etc.,
  • The Account Manager will be available for audits and shall be ready to answer any questions relating to records and the web tool (e3).
  • They shall be responsible for coordinating with Trescal's team for vendor on-sites. They will be responsible for coordinating with the lab's primary to secure available dates and work with the vendor to coordinate an arrival prior to the due date.
  • The Account Manager will participate in the weekly and/or monthly calibration meetings to report any issues to resolution, feedback for improvement and daily updates that the team needs to be aware of.
  • Surveys Customer’s needs and perceptions and feedback to management for continuous improvement of deliverables.

2. Performing Inventory Services:

  • Document in the database units in the system by building, bench, end user & floor
  • Tag or Identify assets needing to be scheduled for field service
  • Identify units needing Lab/Vendor Calibrations& update E3 accordingly
  • Coordinate the list with the Senior RP
  • Advise POC units found/missing so they can be located prior to the on-site

3. Support Customer with E3® online Asset:

  • Creating new equipment records, scanning and uploading certificates or documentation
  • Updating Contract Services

4. Status Reporting:

  • Monitors the status of units in-house (Trescal) and at the Vendor(s) relaying over any ETAs or delays to the primary,
  • Reports and tracks weekly meetings and logs action items,
  • Monitors and tracks purchase orders and communicates when funding is near 25% depletion

5. Trainer/Trainee Assignments and Training Requests:

  • Assists in training Customer on Trescal processes and database usage,
  • Makes training requests to Customer based on team member feedback, workload requirements and Customer corporate needs.

6. Additional Requirements:

  • Prints out ILM labels and Recall labels (once documents are uploaded) and delivers them to POC requesting the addition,
  • Works with the Senior RP to inventory a lab 3 days prior to the on-site,
  • Assists with picking up and delivering to & from the Customer logistics units needing to go to Trescal and/or the vendor for calibration,
  • Monitors the field service calendar to secure on-sites are closed within 3 business days so that certificates are posted,
  • Works with Calibration Contacts to resolve past due units in the system,
  • Assists with uploading Customer’s Calibration Spec Form and newly added certificates of calibration,
  • Attends the weekly US Con-Calls and logs on My Box any audits, concerns, issues and projections and improvements are notated,
  • Collaborates with the Senior RP to help evaluate new assets for capabilities in the field,
  • Assists with finding replacement equipment to swap out on the line when equipment becomes faulty,
  • Assists with reports needed for management,
  • Assists with replacing calibration stickers that have come off the equipment or become unreadable,
  • Assists and cooperates with Customer as asset inventory grows
