Duties/Responsibilities: *

  • Assist with the coordination of financial operations for programs addressing the needs of the elderly and disabled populations for the Area Agency on Aging and Disability.
  • Assist with the timely preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly and annual reports to local and state agencies.
  • Assist with the preparation of program contracts and budgets.
  • Assist with the preparation and distribution of financial records, balance sheets and other grantee reports.
  • Assist with the preparation of grant applications, serving as a liaison with governing state agencies and maintaining accurate financial records and related documentation for all program activities.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Graduation from an accredited four year college or university with a B.A. degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or closely related field;
  • A minimum of three years experience in the delivery of social services (preferably with the elderly and/or disabled);
  • Considerable experience preparing statistical reports and budget projections;
  • Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
  • Valid Tennessee Driver license.
