Pay Range: $19 - $25/Hr

Position Summary

The Accounts Payable Associate will be responsible for processing vendor invoices.

Essential Responsibilities

Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Associate will include, but are not limited to:

• Process vendor invoices to include scanning, coding, and data entry into the companys ERP system.
• Request set-up documentation to include ACH Authorization, W-9 & COLI information from vendors.
• Process weekly disbursements to include physical checks and electronic payments via ACH.
• Perform vendor statement reconciliations on an as needed basis.
• Perform research and be a liaison to restaurants.
• Respond to external vendor and internal inquires in a timely manner, including any payment or invoice discrepancies.
• Maintain positive communication and relationships with restaurants and vendors.
• Reconcile period and year-end AP aging reports.
• General administrative support including, but not limited to phone calls, filing, faxing, scanning, and creating and maintaining spreadsheets.
• Ad hoc data input in Excel databases.
• Audit support when necessary
• General support for Accounting/AP Team
• Team Members and Managers must adhere to policy. Managers must hold team accountable regarding Meal and Rest Break Policy.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to evaluate assignments and prioritize workload based on a definite timeframe for completion. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. Ability to wear multiple hats and willingly take on additional job duties. Strong familiarity with GAAP.

Education/Experience Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Equivalent Work Experience Required.

One year minimum experience.

Proficiency in Excel is a must as well as experience with Restaurant365 or an equivalent Accounting System strongly preferred

Physical Demands/Work Environment

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to sit for extended periods at a time at a desk or in meetings with prolonged and repetitive use of a computer. Position requires ability to apply principles of logical thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Works primarily indoors in a temperature-controlled, clean, and well-lighted environment. Must be able to work in an environment with moderate noise level and ability to effectively work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
