CareGivers is looking for three outstanding, ambitious Personal Care Aides, HHAs, or CNAs to join our team. In this position, you would be assigned to work primarily Monroe County OFA or VA casework in a specified territory. You may be asked to take on other casework if it falls in your territory and fits within your scheduled hours.

You would work a schedule of 30-35 hours/week, Monday through Friday, approximately 8am to 3pm (some flexibility on the start time). We would guarantee you a minimum of 25 hours every week – if clients cancel or we lose clients and are unable to replace those hours and you fall under the 25 hour threshold, we would still pay you for a minimum of 25 hours that week*.

A reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license are required for this position – this is not optional. You will be visiting multiple clients for 2 to 3 hours per client – and you may need to run errands or do shopping for some clients. You will be paid for travel time between clients, and you will also be paid mileage for any errands or shopping you do for clients.

Rate: $17.25 / hour

• Territory A: Greece, Irondequoit
  
• Territory B: Webster, Penfield
• Territory C: Brighton, Fairport, Perinton, Pittsford

• The guarantee excludes any loss of hours because of an inability on your part to work your scheduled shifts

Per NYS DOH mandate, all home care agency staff must be fully vaccinated against COVID, unless they have a medical exemption from their doctor. Boosters encouraged.

Your day might include: providing a safe way for clients to feel clean and refreshed (personal care); learning some new recipes and preparing meals; tidying their home to keep them healthy and being sure they follow their medication schedule. Other care may be needed to keep them safe.

• Must be a certified PCA, HHA, or CNA (expired HHA ok)
• Will transition CNA to HHA with a free one-day class
• Qualified nursing students can work for us as HHAs – ask us how!
• Must be caring, dependable, & must meet health requirements
• Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license* required – you must be able to drive from client to client, this is not optional. (*clean – no major violations)
