Welcome! We are Buddies4Life, LLC. We are the experts in disability care services. Our respite/host home model is surrounded around helping people who are passionate about caring for individuals with disabilities.
Traditionally, those who are in the trenches doing the caregiving don't get paid very well, which is why there is a high turn for individuals in this industry. We are changing the industry paying $16-$19 an hour for respite care and $2,000-$5,000 a month for host parents depending on the severity of the disability.
Host home services can include providing a home for individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities. This often can also be done in your own home (if you have a spare room) or in the community. The population we work with have a wide spectrum of disabilities and are generally ages 12 and up.
Respite care can take place in the individual with disabilities home, or in the community, or in your own home.
