Job Description


About The Position

KIPP Foundation is seeking a Part-Time Marketing Associate to work with us between May to November 2023 at a 15 hours per week capacity. This is an opportunity to help more families and educators learn about KIPP Public Schools through our National Advertising Hub (Ad Hub). In this role, you will work with a high-performing, collaborative Marketing team to organize, create, and share engaging content that expresses KIPP’s mission and tells the story of KIPP students, families, alumni, and staff. This position reports to the Director of Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Help with intake and organization of requests from regions related to their Ad Hub campaigns to make sure questions are kept track of and addressed in a timely manner by the Marketing team and media agency
  • Help with digital ad traffic process, including updating the Facebook Creative Hub as well as templates and trackers that our digital vendor requires for our ads to go live
  • Help with identifying and organizing photos/videos that each region approves as part of their campaign suite of ads and back-up ads
  • Create training resources around campaign landing pages and advertising creative best practices, leveraging 8-10 examples from regions and campaign performance to inform recommendations
  • Update data trackers and dashboards across all Student and Staff campaigns via multiple sources (Google Analytics, dashboard from our digital vendor, regional scorecards, and our applicant tracking system, SmartRecruiters)
  • Draft and facilitate creative requests for a suite of 4-5 ads per region that’ll feed into campaigns year-round
  • Additional digital marketing tasks will include drafting website and email newsletter content, updating our WordPress website, and conducting research around digital marketing trends and tools

Experience and Qualifications

  • Interested in pursuing a career in Marketing and/or Communications
  • Experience in paid media campaign management preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams

WordPress, Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Facebook Creative Hub, HubSpot, and Emma platform experience preferred

Work Conditions

  • Temporary part-time position expected to work 15 hours/week from May through November 2023.

Location

This role offers the option to work remotely or from a KIPP Foundation office located in NYC, Chicago, San Francisco, and Washington, DC.

Compensation and Benefits.

The salary range for this position is $30/hour, commensurate with relevant experience. This is a temporary position that does not qualify for benefits.
