Yan Yan is a fun and delicious activity with sweet cracker sticks and crème for dipping. Chocorooms are an indulgent snack with a unique mushroom shape and wonderful chocolate flavors. Its melt-in-your mouth crispy cracker stems are topped with milk and dark caps made from quality West African cocoa beans.

Stauffer’s is best recognized for its original animal crackers, but the company also produces a variety of crackers and cookies in two bakeries within the United States. Stauffer’s roots are in York, Pennsylvania where the first animal crackers were produced in 1871. Our second bakery resides in Santa Ana, California near Laguna Beach. Summary: The Controls Technician designs, and develops all aspects of electrical control systems, equipment and machinery. The Controls Technician is responsible for the installation and technical support of PLC/HMI based hardware and software, VFD’s, and Ethernet Networking. The controls technician will work with plant personnel to keep machinery running and perform other tasks as required.

• Support manufacturing facility’s Controls, Electrical needs, and Networking
• Manufacturing floor troubleshooting on control systems
• Program PLC’s (Programmable logic controllers) including Allen Bradley, OMRON, GE Fanuc, Siemens, Mitsubishi, and others as needed
• Match and replace VFD’s and be able to understand and setup parameters
• Champion and implement the company’s standard engineering and controls practices
• Write, review, and give input to engineering specifications for new and existing equipment when needed
• Able to modify or develop electrical schematic’s in AutoCAD and Adobe PDF drawings
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and ladder logic diagrams
• Demonstrated experience in PLC logic programming and corresponding hardware
• Able to program PLC’s in RSLogix 500 & 5000, RS Studio 5000, VisiLogic, and Cscape
• Camera Inspection systems (Cognex and/or Keyence)
• Able to program HMI’s in FT View Studio, C-more, Unitronics, and Horner
• Understanding general construction of an electrical and controls cabinet and how to handle the different voltages within the cabinet
• Understanding of how-to setup and back up a VFD drive with its parameter settings and match up new with obsoleted VFD’s
• Experience in troubleshooting various drive controllers (Allen Bradley, AC Tech, Mitsubishi)
• (Desired) CompTIA Certification in A+ for entry-level for PC computer service professionals for installing, maintaining, customizing, and setup of operating systems for personal computers, PLC, HMI, and VFD
• Understanding of Connection Technology and Best Practices
• (Desired) CompTIA Certification in Network+ for networking professionals, and coversmanaging, maintaining, troubleshooting, operating, and configuring basic network infrastructure
• Understanding of Managed Switch’s vs a HUB (Allen Bradley Stratix, 9300-ENA)
• Experience in trouble shooting various drive controllers (Allen Bradley, AC Tech, Mitsubishi
• Experience working in a team environment.

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 10 years’ experience with a minimum of 4 years’ experience in an Automation role
