As a caregiver at Americare, you’ll build relationships and improve the quality of life of the elderly/disabled population who are in need of love and care. Your goal will be to help individuals enjoy life by helping them perform their activities of daily living and transportation to/from activities. Your compassion and diligence as a caregiver will bring joy into the lives of the clients you work with and help them feel encouraged, involved and loved. We currently have a client in West Monroe whom we are in need of a DSW for (2) 8-hour shift rotations (Days: 7AM-3PM; Evenings: 3PM-11PM). Client needs monitoring for food intake, meal prep according to diabetic guidelines, transportation to/from appointments and activities, light assistance with all personal care and light housekeeping tasks, and firm guidance. DSW training and CPR certification is provided by the company. You must have a clean background, valid driver's license, good driving history, reliable transportation, current auto insurance/registration, and able to pass a drug test. A minimum of one year experience is preferred for this position. We are looking to hire immediately!
