Talent Recap is the only independent website and Social Media network that is exclusively dedicated to the fans of the most popular talent shows around the world. As passionate fans of these shows ourselves, we provide news and analysis on America’s Got Talent, Britain’s Got Talent, The Voice, The Masked Singer, The Four, The X Factor, American Idol, Dancing with the Stars, Bring the Funny, the judges, and its contestants.

Launched in 2017, the website seeks to develop a platform for fans of similar interests across the globe, to read, watch, discuss, engage and share their passion with fellow fans while having fun in the process!

Talent Recap’s main hub is our website at talentrecap.com. However, we have developed a great following on other social media platforms. We have approximately 3.5 million followers on Facebook and more than 10 million subscribers on YouTube.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

Talent Recap is seeking a knowledgeable graphic designer to fill the role of thumbnail designer for the YouTube channels connected to Talent Recap. In this position we work hard to provide the best content possible relating to all things talent shows! We are looking for a candidate who can bring their unique creativity to the team and help us enhance our YouTube strategies.

Daily tasks include:

• Create 150-200 thumbnails per month (with any necessary edits/changes/iterations as needed)
• Work under tight deadlines and submitting tasks on time
• Use YouTube strategies and graphic design knowledge to create the most successful thumbnails increasing CTR, viewership & retention

Skills needed:

• Experience with Photoshop and Canva is a MUST
• In depth knowledge on CTR metric, and a good read on YouTube audience
• Stay up-to-date with guidelines pertaining to YouTube thumbnails.
• Experience in graphic design
• A love for talent shows!

Application Requirements:

• Cover Letter, Resume and a minimum of 3 thumbnails.
• Please look at our channels – Talent Recap and Top 10 Talent – assess and create 3 completely different style thumbnails and label them with the style you went for.
• Put together a list of 10 channels that you identify with their thumbnails styles and a brief explanation why.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
