We are a social services agency and have been serving at-risk children state-wide for 40 years. Christian Family Care Social Services Agency is looking to hire a full time Youth Advocate for our Phoenix office. We are a certified Best Christian Workplace organization and accredited through the Council on Accreditation. This position pays a competitive salary of $ 18.27 - $21.00 per hour and provides a flexible benefits package which can include health insurance, disability insurance, paid vacation and holiday, mileage reimbursement, and retirement plan.
Youth Advocates also hold a responsibility to appropriately advocate for their specified child when considering adoptive placements, keeping the best intention for the child in mind. As a Youth Advocate, you will work with a team of professionals that work with specific children referred to our agency who are in the care of the Arizona Department of Child Safety and who need stable and loving homes. Youth Advocates prepare their assigned children for adoption through frequent home visits relationship building and grief and loss activities.
