JOB SCOPE:
Responsible for the installation of a minimum of 3 window and door jobs per week. The Home Improvement (HI) Lead Installer will also be responsible for the completion of frontline services and repairs to company standards for assigned territory. Increase revenue for the company while providing excellent customer service.
JOB SUMMARY:
The Home Improvement (HI) Lead Installer is responsible for all installations, service and repair of Window and Door products (Double Hung, Picture, Slider, End Vent, Bay, Bow and Octagon Windows. Patio Doors, Entry Doors, Security and Screen Doors). This includes ensuring that the work is completed in a timely manner while abiding to all company, city, state, and county code requirements including maintaining the highest level of customer service. Must be able to use a brake and fully capable of bending and cutting of metal and wood products to complete all installs and repairs.Company Vehicle, Tools, Gas Card, and other benefits provided!

Responsibilities/Skills/Experience Requirements
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Installs new window and door and related accessories according to company, safety, and manufacturer's specifications.
• Ensures complete protection of customer's property during installation or service of product
• Removes all old window/door from customer's home and cleans up all areas utilized for the new installation
• Maintains the highest level of customer service while performing installation and other job duties while promoting additional product and services to the customer
• Maintains the highest level of standards for time management and quality completions.
• Ensures material inventory and maintenance for vehicles is completed to company requirements
• Assists in obtaining all required permitting based on company, city, state, and county code requirements
• Coaches and trains others within the Home Improvement business on all company operating policies specific to the roles and
• responsibilities of window and door installation and other products as assigned
• Supervises Install Helper to ensure high quality and timely completions for all installations
• Writes up service work orders, completes product order forms, completes repairs and communicates with customers on regular basis
• Performs fieldwork necessary for resolving customer complaints, along with monitoring/inspecting new installs to insure products and services provided are to company standards
• Performs other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3-5 years of related experience
• Valid Driver License for the State of employment
• Up to 100% travel
• 18 years of age or older

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Ability to communicate, read, understand and apply written text of a technical nature in order to answer questions, solve problems or complete job tasks
• Complete knowledge of all tools, equipment and materials used to perform services on Window and Doors or like products.
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Ability to work variable and flexible hours, including significant overtime as needed, along with overnight and Sunday service as needed
• Ability to follow appropriate industry specific regulations related to the handling of hazardous materials
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, stretch, twist, reach and climb
• Ability to drive and travel long distances
• Ability to drive in various weather conditions for long periods of time and in various demographic areas
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Strong communication and problem solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of all types of window, door and locking systems.
• Strong skill and knowledge of interior and exterior wood and metal trim work, caulking and sealing.
