Java Love Coffee Roasting Co., is a woman-owned artisan coffee roasting company with the mission of quality coffee done right, the passion of creating and connecting with our communities, and the commitment to Coffee with Integrity. We focus on taking as little and giving as much as possible while creating opportunities through mindful support of local & global communities. We source only Organic, Sustainably Farmed, Fair Trade, Rainforest Alliance & Water Processed green coffee beans, produced with respect for the environment and farmers, then at our flagship shop in Suffern, we lovingly roast in small batches to maintain the quality and integrity of each bean.
ABOUT THE JOB
We’re seeking an enthusiastic, self-starter who wants to be a leader as a regional sales manager for this newly developed position. Our ideal candidate is passionate about coffee, customers and community – able to treat fellow team members and guests with respect, compassion and recognition. Interested candidates must be able to commit to at least one year in the role.
RESPONSIBILITIES - Ability to perform duties including and not limited to:
- Help further develop our wholesale sales program providing current customers with a high level of customer service
- Establish leads and identify new prospects; document and log daily calls, contacts and client portfolios
- Form relationships and close sales
- Explore broker and distribution sales pipeline opportunities
- Support and report on quarterly and and annual sales goals and pipelines
- Work closely with management
- Special projects as needed
REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years in food and beverage sales
- Record of stellar customer service, meeting and exceeding goals
- Should be self-driven, ambitious, detail oriented and reliable
- Must have a strong interest in coffee and willingness to expand knowledge base
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate in a timely and effective manner
- Experience with MS Word, Excel, Google Docs and Sheets a plus
- Personal transportation
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a fast-paced team
- Ability to learn coffee standards and product knowledge
- College degree
