Job Description

ExacTech Inc. in Sturgeon Bay, WI is looking to add 1st and 2nd shift welders to our team. As part of a turnkey heavy fabrication team, welders are responsible for welding and fabricating on various steel parts. We are proud to offer in-house job training for all our team members. Previous welding experience is required.

1st Shift: Monday-Thursday 5:45AM-3:15PM; Friday 6:45AM-10:45AM (1/2 day Fridays)

2nd Shift: Monday-Thursday 3:30PM-2:00AM (3-day Weekend)

Job Responsibilities

• Welding and fabricating steel parts
• Inspect fabricated parts before welding; inspect weld surfaces; examine work piece for defects
• Read weld blueprints; measure work piece to specifications
• Use of overhead cranes and jib cranes
• All other duties and responsibilities that are assigned

Job Qualifications

• Technical diploma in welding is desired
• Understand pre-heat and post-heat weldments preferred
• Ability to read Blueprints and drawings is a plus
• Ability to use a tape measurer and convert measurements into decimals
• Following verbal and written work instructions
• Regular attendance required
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
