Job description

We are looking to add a wedding coordinator to our team! In this position you would work one-on-one with couples to help plan details of the event including floorplans, timelines, menus and anything else the couple may need in order to ensure a stress free day.

Responsibilities

• Meet with couples (online or in-person) to discuss details of wedding day.
• Contact vendors to discuss wedding day details and confirm logistics.
• Send contracts.
• Create timelines, floor plans, color schemes, centerpieces, etc.
• Set-up and tear down decor.
• Serve as a point of contact on the wedding day.
• Run ceremony rehearsals.
• Making sure everyone is on time and sticks to the timeline.
• Oversee all aspects of wedding day.
• Communicate between the venue (The Swan Barn Door) and the customers
• Get food/drinks for the couple.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Organizational, planning, and problem solving skills.
• Strong communication skills
• Must be able to lift 30lbs.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must have Friday and Saturday work availability
• Must be flexible with meeting times and work responsibilities.
• Creativity when it comes to decor and set up.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

• Commission pay

Experience:

• Events management: 1 year (Preferred)
• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
