Job description
Freese and Nichols is currently searching for Water/Wastewater Pipeline and Pump Station EIT in our El Paso, Texas office. As Water/Wastewater Pipeline and Pump Station EIT you will work on a team of engineers and technicians on projects through study, design and construction phases of wastewater lift stations, water pump stations, stormwater pump stations, large diameter pipelines and utility work.
- Applying basic engineering principles, while contributing to project assignments.
- Becoming familiar with the engineering staff, methods, practices, and procedures of Freese and Nichols
- Perform specific and limited portions of a broader assignment
- Apply standard practices and techniques in specific situations
- Collect, adjust, and correlate data and recognize discrepancies in results
- Become familiar with accepted criteria and methods
- Perform project assignments within the scope of work and guidelines
- Responsible for coordination of project efforts contributed by technicians and/or drafting personnel working on the same project
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil or mechanical engineering
- 0+ years’ experience in civil design
Preferred
- Engineer-in-Training certification in Texas
