Do you have a natural knack for working with your hands and troubleshooting mechanical components? Join us as a Facilities/Utilities Industrial Mechanic in our Blue Anchor plant where you will be performing all aspects of the wastewater treatment maintenance and operation including, sampling, monitoring and required testing. You'll collaborate with an upbeat, hard-working, and diverse team to keep our plant running smoothly, and continuously improve our machinery and maintenance department. The shift for this position is 7 am – 4 pm, Monday through Friday.

Blue Anchor is one of Kellogg’s five Frozen Foods plants and our team takes pride in every “L’Eggo My Eggo” product we make. From our union facility in South Jersey, we use our “K-Values” to guide our actions. HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Preventative Maintenance – Inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining equipment, tanks and filter beds
• Ensuring Regulatory Compliance - Adding chemicals, such as ammonia or chlorine, to disinfect water or other liquids. Inspecting equipment and monitoring operating conditions, meters, and gauges
• Following Best Practices – Understanding, following, and enforcing all established safety, health, quality, and Company policies, procedures, and recognized practices.

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

• 
  Active State of NJ Industrial Wastewater Treatment System (N License)
• Previous experience as a mechanic in a manufacturing setting and/or successful completion of technical school program
• Minimum of 3 years industrial maintenance experience
• Sitting, standing, walking, lifting (50 lbs) and / or repetitive tasks throughout the day
