The Warehouse Worker CIF shall be responsible for performing a variety of warehousing duties that require an understanding of the establishment's storage plan.
- Verify materials (or merchandise) against receiving documents.
- Noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damages.
- Routing materials to prescribed storage locations.
- Storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods.
- Rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials.
- Examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage.
- Removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment.
- May operate hand, power trucks, forklifts and pallet jacks in performing warehousing duties
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of two (2) years of material/supply functions, either in the military services or in commercial applications.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience with supply chain management, inventory, warehousing; specifically, preventive maintenance.
- Maintain a valid state-issued Driver's license and applicable Government/Army license.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Physical ability to load and unload heavy objects, and store and move furniture without mechanical aid.
- Working knowledge of supply chain management, inventory, and warehousing operations
- Be proficient with office automation to include desk top computers, Microsoft Office suite, copiers and phones.

- While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or hear. The employee may use repeated motions that include the arms, wrists, hands and/or fingers. The employee is occasionally required to walk, stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
