Discount Tire Regional Warehouse Technician – Part Time $17.00 Per Hour

Discount Tire Regional Warehouse Technicians serve their stores and teammates. They assist in recouping credit from Manufacturers at an industry leading level of quality, efficiency, and volume. They also contribute to the future of better, safer tires by providing accurate and clean data to our Manufacturers. Workdays:

Normal workdays are Monday through Friday. Occasional Saturdays and Sundays may be necessary.

Work Hours:

Normal work hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. 35 hours maximum weekly. Start time will occasionally change to roughly 6 a.m. upon outbound shipping days to load trailers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Unloads and loads tires at the warehouse
• Physically and virtually inspects adjustment tires
• Video inspection calls, with store personnel
• Torque wrench calibration/repair (training and certification will be provided)
• Autoflate inflation device repair
• Creating and managing calls and pickup schedules for your store group
• Using mobile scanners, SAP, Excel and future technology
• Using SAP to receive, ship and edit data and status of adjustment tire returns
• Works closely coaching and mentoring store personnel on the execution/understanding of the warranty program to best serve our customers and meet manufactures standards
• Assisting in unloading and loading physical returns, weekly, in quantities of 500-1000 tires
• Work closely with other warehouse personnel to continually stay up to date on DT’s Warranty Program and processes
• Fork-Lift driving may be required, moving pallets of supplies. On-site fork-lift training and certification is provided (current certification is not required to obtain the position.)

• Grooming and work apparel mirrors DT store standards
• Stays updated and adheres to all DT Best Practices and safety guidelines
• Participates in team huddles, brings new ideas and a logistic mindset to solving problems as a servant leader
• Holds yourself and your peers accountable with a great attitude, Positive communication skills
• Self-driven and capable of self-supervision beyond reproach
• Ability to learn and retain knowledge of Manufacturer requirements and DT warranty process changes and the ability to adapt quickly with these changes
• Contributes to keeping the warehouse and office space clean and organized. Weekly rotating cleaning duties are assigned to all employees
