JOB SUMMARY:

• Develops and Maintains productivity standards for all warehouse tasks. Reviews individual progress and development on a regular basis and recommends actions for increasing productivity and accuracy.
• Duties include Interviewing candidates, ensuring all employees are properly trained, observing employee performance, offering feedback, and annual performance evaluations.
• Ability to perform all Frontline tasks and performs the tasks when needed.
• Practices open communication throughout the organization.
• Promotes Team environment for all activities
• Lead and participate in continuous improvement activities as necessary.

PRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Clear direction, organizing, and leadership skills with focus on Safety, Quality, and Efficiency within a modern “Computerized” warehouse.
• Ensures materials are received in the correct location, tagged, stored, pulled and reported in accordance with established procedures while ensuring timely and accurate transaction processing.
• Receive all materials purchased and liaise with quality and purchasing to verify delivered goods match order specification.
• Identify, Implement, and Supervise Kan Ban and VMI Programs to assure accuracy.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• Ability to function at a high level of effectiveness, flexibility, independence and initiative without daily interaction with management.
• Excellent organizational skills, including ability to multi-task and prioritize workload.
• 5 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficient computer skills required including ERP Software, Warehouse Management Software, Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to drive a fork truck
• Able to lift 75 lbs

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• 2 years of Warehouse management experience in materials/warehouse management within a manufacturing environment.
• Successful experience in employee training and development including that of peers and subordinates.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
