Bailey’s Moving and Storage is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor for our Moving and Storage warehouse in Englewood, CO. This position is full-time - Monday through Friday, and includes benefits.
You will be directing a team of general warehouse labor workers, which would include proper delegation and accountability skills, scheduling, making sure drivers depart on time, plus other duties. This position requires attention to all facets relating to the receiving and restoring, and outgoing items.
In addition, the ideal candidate will come with proven successful experience working in the moving & storage industry, Household Goods (HHG), and managing a warehouse environment. Forklift experience preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and direct a team of general warehouse workers
• Planning and scheduling warehouse employees as to workflow, working with dispatch/operations
• Make sure drivers leave on time or in a timely manner
• Know, understand and be able to train the process for Receiving, releasing, accessing, processing, labeling, documenting, and storing incoming and outgoing items
• Completing all paperwork required by the company's policies and by Colorado law.
• Ability to understand and train in processing, packaging, and shipping orders accurately and timely
• Maintain clear and concise records on all shipments and products
• Inspect inbound shipments for damage - prepare, provide and keep records of all damages for the chain of custody
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized under the direction of the Operations Manager
• Operating warehouse equipment, forklift, banding equipment, and operating a trash compactor
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONSSome experience in Household Goods (HHG), commercial moving, and warehouse storage (preferred)

• Capable of lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds
• Ability to reach with hands and arms
• Stand, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed
• Neat, clean, and professional appearance
• Good attitude
• Able to manage others in a fast-paced environment, as well as work alongside them
• Forklift experience preferred

Training and certifications will be provided by the company for all safety-sensitive equipment
