Liveo Research is a global manufacturer of rigid packaging solutions with five locations worldwide. Our pharmaceutical manufacturing plant in Delaware City, Delaware is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor.
Do you have experience in warehouse management, specifically receiving, warehousing, shipping, managing continuous improvement, leading employees and working with global partners, well then, we have a position for you. Come join our team!
What you will do:
- Oversees the setup, improvement, and reorganization of the warehouse, using best practices to maximize warehouse capacity, efficiency, and inventory accuracy
- Manage warehouse associates, monitoring work and ensuring the safe use of warehouse equipment
- Support annual budget through establishment of team goals and continuous improvement efforts in collaboration with site Leadership Team.
- Recommend purchase of new or improved technology, such as automated systems
- Establishes, measures, and maintains stock levels for finished good packaging items including pallets, stretch films, cartons, cradles, banding and cores.
- Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports or exports, or customer issues
- Collaborates with Liveo Research global sites
- Trains warehouse associates in roles and responsibilities regarding warehouse best practices and strategies
- Motivate, organize, and encourage teamwork within the workforce to ensure set productivity targets are met
- Participate in personnel development at all levels through talent acquisition, performance management, providing opportunity for high performers, education, communication, and expectation setting
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business system or processes, such as customer sales, order management and accounting
- Conduct or review environmental audits for logistics activities, such as storage, distribution, or transportation
- Provide back up to Warehouse Associate and Logistics Manager functions
- Responsible for leading and facilitating monthly, quarterly, and annual Inventory counts
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Liveo is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or relevant work experience
- Logistics, Warehouse or Supply Certification strongly preferred
- 5+ years of supervisory experience
- Experienced user of Microsoft Windows suite software, Advanced Excel Skills
- Experienced ERP Systems user, preferably SAP
- Manufacturing experience in a Make-To-Order production (MTO) strongly preferred
- Language: English (German a plus)
