Onin Staffing in Creedmoor is currently recruiting a shipping associate for a client we have in Louisburg. In this role you will be responsible for getting information concerning products that re to be shipped or received.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced shipping and receiving associate looking to get on 1st shift.
- $15.00/hour
- Monday-Friday 7am-3pm/8am-4pm (TBD)
- Temp to hire opportunity with a growing company

As a shipping clerk you will be responsible for getting information concerning products that are to be shipped or received so in this role you will:
- Examine contents and compares with records, such as manifests, invoices or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipments.
- Prepare documents, such as, bills of lading, and shipping orders to route materials.
- Packs, seals, labels, and affixes postage to prepare materials for shipping, using work devices such as hand tools, power tools, and postage meters.
- Contacts carrier representatives to make arrangements and to issue instructions for shipping and delivery of materials.
- Prepare and print shipping documents and labels corresponding to shipping needs
Work Experience
The shipping clerk candidates might:
- Perform physical activities that require considerable use of the arms and legs and moving the whole body such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
- Establish and maintain interpersonal relationships and maintain them over a period of time in order to properly do the job function.
- Must have the ability to identify information by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances or events.
- Ability to drive a box truck short distances to our other facility.
- Clean Driving License (this is a must)
- Able to see to 20/20 with or without corrective lenses
