Leading Independent Regional Foodservice Distributor located in Cleveland, Ohio, has an immediate career opportunity for a 3rd Shift (6:30 pm start time) Warehouse Operations Assistant.
The Warehouse Operations Assistant will perform a variety of routine warehousing
tasks including:
Provides clerical/administrative support to the operations group.- Use pallet building program to organize orders for the selection process.
- Identify replenishment need, research outs, and perform audits to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Provide thorough communication with appropriate parties regarding all labels, drop, and catchweight concerns.
- Support the warehouse team with any additional duties. (i.e. sorting orders, packing, data input, and operating Reach Truck/ Pallet jack when necessary)
Knowledge and Skill Requirements include
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to bend, twist, stoop, reach and lift up to 50lbs.
