Steinhafels is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Manager to oversee the warehouse and delivery operations at our soon to open Steinhafels Bolingbrook Distribution center location.
Primary Duties for the Warehouse Manager include:
- Monitors the overall workflow of the warehouse and delivery
- Interview, hire and develop warehouse and delivery personnel
- Responsible for talent management under direction from the company standards
- Scheduling employees to meet business needs
- Monitoring hours and overtime
- Controlling and monitoring time restraints of shipments
- Over seeing vendor chargebacks
- Reporting any accidents or broken equipment
- Completion of various reports as needed
- Coordination between merchandise pick-up and warehouse team
- Safety training and upkeep of MSDS
- Inspection of merchandise to be delivered
- Responsible for accurate and timely schedule of all deliveries
- Responsible for all aspects of delivery routing
- Work hand-in-hand with call center regarding customer returns/pick-ups
- Answering general employee questions
- Responsible for area cleanliness and lift truck and delivery truck maintenance
- Requires punctuality and regular attendance
- All other duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
- Requires previous management experience
- Requires excellent communication, organization, and motivational skills
- Responsible for following and enforcing all company policies and procedures
- Willingness to drive lift trucks, and delivery trucks
- Ability to use and train on computers
